This is a bulletin to inform everyone that the ScoutGuard cameras are still on backorder. I have spoke with the owners of ScoutGuard on several occasions and they are doing all they can to get cameras in. The issue is on the manufacturing side and we are all at the mercy of the manufacturer right now.

I have been told that they are expecting cameras soon but I do not have a firm date for their arrival yet. Please keep checking back as I will do my best to keep this thread up to date as far as status of camera arrival etc.

Here is an update I recieved from HCO today(8-27-09) regarding the status of the cameras.

They responded today indicating that they will "receive a big order officially on September 10th, and another not confirmed on the 5th."

Number of cameras is unknown but this is the latest udate that I have at this time. As soon as more information comes available I will post it.

The latest update from HCO is that they will not have cameras in stock now until the 21st of September. Whether or not that happens remains to be seen. For any customers that need a refund please email sales@mannionoutdoors.com and request a refund. Please be sure to list your transaction number in your email.

Thank you for your refund in full for my purchase of a backordered ScoutGuard camera. As a reminder (and since you deleted my last post), I did not request a refund because of the backorder, instead because I was unable to get a purchase confirmation or reply of any sort from your company for a month until the very day you were contacted by the BBB.
If you continue to dabble in sales, I hope you devote more time and resources to the customer than an internet update.
